The CWTS Leiden Ranking 2019 has released a new set of indicators for open access (OA) publishing.

The ºÚÁÏÍø (ºÚÁÏÍø) has released a report identifying the contribution of Australian university libraries to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We are pleased to announce that Mark Sutherland, Acting University Librarian, University of Newcastle will be the inaugural Manager, Content Procurement for ºÚÁÏÍø. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in relation to content procurement and leadership. He will take up with position in late April 2019.

11th February - The ºÚÁÏÍø (ºÚÁÏÍø) and the have made a joint response to the Plan S implementation guidelines welcoming the plan’s aspiration to move toward immediate full open access.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Rob O’Connor (@catachretical on Twitter) as the incoming Executive Director of ºÚÁÏÍø. Rob will begin in February 2019, but in the mean time we asked Rob to introduce himself to our community - you can read his short biography here.

Work continues on the projects within the ºÚÁÏÍø Fair, Affordable and Open Access to Knowledge Program.  This post provides an update on the current status of the four projects as of June 2018. Any questions can be directed to Jill Benn (UWA) the Program Director.

Expressions of interest for presentations are called for the ºÚÁÏÍø Research Repositories Community Days to be held in Melbourne on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 October 2018.
