Objectives

The objective of this project is to determine how improvements to repository infrastructure can be made across the sector to increase the findability, accessibility, interoperability and re-usability (FAIR) of Australian-funded research outputs.

Scope

1. Identify an ideal future state including a review of international initiatives such as OpenAire;
2. Create a prioritised list of enhancements for findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability.
3. Seek feedback from ºÚÁÏÍø members and other stakeholders;
4. Lead the implementation of changes in Australia as required.

Timing: The project has concluded (undertaken in 2018).
